Computer Literacy


Description
During this course, students will master computer applications. They will also solidify their keyboarding skills. During the exploration of Microsoft Office, students will also obtain business skills in the areas of letter writing, answering the phone, photocopying, mailing, and filing procedures. The instructor will coordinate with math, science, social studies, and English teachers so that students incorporate these skills into their core academic areas.

Information Literacy

A. Demonstrated and understood the use of technology tools to efficiently and effectively access information during the process of solving a problem or making an informed decision.

B. Used telecommunications to collaborate, publish, and interact with peers, experts, and other audiences

C. Used a variety of media and formats to communicate information and ideas effectively to multiple audiences
