Tom Gumm

Mr. Gumm is a native of Colorado, coming from a family of 5 kids (4 boys one girl). He graduated from college with a math degree and has had SEVERAL jobs over the years including construction, fire protection designer/engineer, Platte Canyon school bus driver, and PCHS math teacher to name a few. Mr. Gumm enjoys teaching math to kids (even if MATH is a four letter word). The kids make the job!! His spare time is divided between his fire protection company, woodworking, exercise and home life.

Stephan Hanford

Mr. Hanford is a Colorado native growing up in Ft. Collins. He received his B.S. from Colorado State University, and Master of Education from Regis University. He enjoys traveling with his wife and is always looking forward to the next trip they will take. One of his favorite activities is backpacking with his wife and dog. He enjoys teaching Earth Science since it is visible in the world around us.

Jane Olson

Jane graduated from Wheaton College, Wheaton, Illinois, in 1970 with a degree in literature. She received her masters degree in reading education from Northern Illinois University in 1976. She taught seventh and eighth grade language arts at Glen Crest Middle School in Glen Ellyn, IL from 1970 until 2004 when she “retired.” In the fall of 2004 she came to Fitzsimmons Middle School where she teaches eighth grade language arts.
Jane is the mother of three adult children. In her spare time she enjoys skiing, singing with the Evergreen Chorale, and relaxing with her Portuguese Water Dog Phineas.

Cathy Corbin

Ms. Corbin was born and raised in Colorado. She received her BA from the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley, Colorado.
Most of her career, Cathy has worked in elementary education. She has taught 3rd, 4th and 5th grades as well technology and science at the elementary level. She began her career in Arizona teaching on the Navajo reservation. In her spare time.
You might find Cathy hiking in the beautiful hills of Bailey with her dogs, cooking a new dish or off in a quiet corner reading a favorite story.
