Each school has a School Advisory Council to advise the Principal on matters of accreditation and accountability and to make recommendations relative to the prioritization of expenditures of District funds at the school.

The District annually publishes a report to the public that discloses student performance and the results of school and District improvement processes.

District budgets and financial records are audited annually by an external auditor who is a Certified Public Accountant.

Safe Schools

The District has created a Safe Schools Plan that is regularly reviewed and updated regularly to assure a safe learning and working environment.

The Principal of each school, following consultation with constituent groups, is charged with creating a School Safety Plan that is reviewed annually by the School Advisory Council and faculty and revised as appropriate to maintain a safe school.

District administrators and staff cooperate with law enforcement officials, the juvenile justice system, and social services to keep school environments safe.
