Counseling Staff

Chris Stewart considers her home town as Pittsburgh , Pennsylvania .   She received her Bachelor of Science in Health and Physical Education from the Pennsylvania State University and is an avid Penn State fan.   She taught at Westinghouse High School in Pittsburgh for three years.   Chris joined the Navy and retired as a Lieutenant Commander in 1995.   While on Active Duty, Chris earned her Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from National University in San Diego .   Her first job at Platte Canyon High School was in the Alternative Cooperative Education (ACE) program where she worked for five years.   After earning her Masters in Education for Guidance Counselors, Chris was assigned as a Counselor for the High School.

Chris and her husband, Bill, love, show, and race Samoyeds.   They have three Champions and have had the Top Samoyed Sled Dog and Sled Teams numerous years.   Chino has also been a therapy dog at PCHS visiting support groups.   Bill and Chris have a wonderful daughter, son-in-law, and three perfect grandchildren.

Mrs. O'Shea was born in Iowa, and came to Colorado on a vacation in 1981 and never left.   She received her BA from the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley.   She received her MA in counseling and administration from the University of Phoenix.
