Mrs. Barth is a native of Colorado and has taught elementary, middle school and high school. Her initial degree was in elementary education but she has since gained a second degree in English. Her husband of thirty-nine years, Rick, teaches chemistry at Front Range Community College. Her children, Steven and Christine, live in Oregon and Texas. She has seven grandchildren who are the light of her life. Ruth teaches and is passionate about speech and drama.
